Hanging stuff on your walls is the loveliest thing when you rent somewhere and make it your own. We lodged in a tiny room fro 2 years and covered the walls with photo printouts and a world map!
I’ve never got round to putting stuff on canvas or in frames as I’ve never envisaged having somewhere to ultimately hang them! Just another thing to put into storage!
We’ve got a small scratch off world map for our van, that evokes so many memories. I’d love to have proper pictures one day, if we ever live somehere more permanent.
I love your map of NZ. I prefer the second of your potential canvas photos, I think it would look awesome on canvas! B&W would be cool too, it would depend on your deco and the look you want for your room.
Aaaah yeah! In canada where I stayed in a student dorm for 4 months we had a board on the wall where u could stick just anything. We collected memories during our time there and I loved it, tickets maps everything. I love my NZ map too! And it’s easy to carry around. I got a framed picture from my granny and ended up storing it up north since I’m moving around. So yes, this canvas idea will be a later project :) do you have a photo of your scratch map?
Jag är jättedålig på att ha nåt på väggarna, har en enda tavla och det är en plansch från Fuck Cancer som pojkvännens syster sedan har målat på och piffat till ;) Det är det enda, o jag har bott på samma ställe över två år nu. Iofs täcks en hel vägg av bokhyllor så med bokryggarna blir det ganska mycket färg och plotter ändå. För mig är det älskad inredning.
Äsch då det är ju inget måste ;) Vilka spännande tavlor den där Stenvall! Kan inte minnas att jag sett någon sådan? Men då var det å andra sidan jag som för ett år sedan inte visste vem Vincent van Gogh var ;)
Asså vad lustigt! Min mamma och jag pratade preciiiis nyligen om just canvastavlor eller, ja att hon så gärna vill göra canvastavlor av sina resebilder när de var i Vietnam bl.a.! Att hon tänker att hon ska göra det men inte hittat nån bra sida där man kan göra det!! =D Måste tipsa henne om detta nu!! Tack! =D

Teres den kommer från NZ faktiskt. Stannade i en random souvenir-butik längs vägen och fyndade den! (Den vill dock inte hålla uppe med häftmassa så ramlar ner gång på gång just nu haha)
